The IELSP is a one-year postgraduate study programme offering a variety of courses in international, European and comparative law. The knowledge that this programme offers will be of value to students from all over the world.
Foreign Law graduates who want to improve their knowledge of International and European Law. The postgraduate of IELSP is open to graduates in Law and students who expect to graduate in Law prior to entering the IELSP.
The term ‘graduates in Law’ includes all students who have completed the bachelor + master university curriculum in law or a five-year law curriculum, and have been awarded a law degree in their home country (without necessarily having taken subsequent State or professional examinations which would allow them to practice law or be admitted to the Bar). Students with high grades will be the preferred candidates for admission.
All non-native speakers must demonstrate their English proficiency with a test result in the International English Testing System (IELTS, 7-7.5 pt minimum) or the test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), (computer based test 250 pt minimum,) internet based test 100 pt minimum, with the following minimum section requirements:
• Reading: 20
• Listening: 20
• Speaking: 20
• Writing: 20
or a certificate of the European Standard level B2.
Students with a first or second degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction do not have to submit a TOEFL or IELTS test report, but need a statement from their university that their instructional language was English.
